Who we are

Calling to Clarity is a business of Tara Nixon, operated by Cabinet 13, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. "We" and "us" on this page mean Cabinet 13, LLC. You can reach us at tara@taranixon.com or PO Box 154, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Values and inclusion

Last updated October 10, 2026

Calling to Clarity is built on connection, learning, and compassion. I started it to help people whose work comes from somewhere deep build a business that can hold that work, and that includes people the business world has made unwelcome.

Calling to Clarity is based in Lugoff, South Carolina, on the Wateree River. I respectfully acknowledge that this is the ancestral land of the Wateree and Catawba peoples, and before them of the people of Cofitachiqui, whose capital stood nearby. The Catawba Indian Nation has lived on its ancestral lands in this region for at least 6,000 years and is the only federally recognized tribe in South Carolina today. I'm grateful to live and work here, and committed to keep learning its history.

This business welcomes and affirms

What I stand for, fully and without exception

Hate, harassment, and bigotry have no place in my client work, my community spaces, or my inbox, and I won't build systems for a business that promotes them.

What that looks like in practice

I won't always get this right. If I miss something, write to me at tara@taranixon.com and I'll take it seriously.

Privacy policy

The short version

What you pick in The True-to-You Photo Prompt stays in your own browser, and we never see it. The tool never sees or stores your photo. To get the tool you check out through our email platform with your name and email address, and we use them to give you access and send you our emails. We don't sell your information. You can unsubscribe any time, and you can ask us to delete what we have. The rest of this policy says the same thing with the detail regulators expect.

What we collect

What you pick in the tool. Nothing. Your choices are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device so they're there next time, and the Clear my choices button removes them. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see them. A printed prompt is only as private as the place you keep it.

Your photo. Nothing. The tool never asks for, receives, or stores a photo. You upload your photo to your own image tool, under that tool's terms, never to us.

What you give us at checkout. Your name and email address, collected by our email platform when you buy The True-to-You Photo Prompt. The card details you enter at checkout go to the payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

What you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

What's collected automatically. Our email platform records whether you opened an email and which links you clicked. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. The tool itself runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and loads nothing from any other website. Your prompt is built in your browser.

What we don't collect. We don't ask for your date of birth, government ID numbers, precise location, biometric information, or health information. We don't buy data about you from other companies.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make this work, and only what they need.

We also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to protect someone's safety or our legal rights, and if the business is ever sold or merged, in which case your information transfers with it and this policy keeps applying until we tell you otherwise.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of both.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can do any of these by writing to tara@taranixon.com.

We won't treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm who you are first, usually by asking you to reply from the email address on file. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need longer. If we say no, you can appeal by replying and asking us to reconsider. We'll answer the appeal within 45 days and tell you how to reach your state attorney general if you're still unsatisfied.

California. You also have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, why, and the categories of companies we disclose it to, all described above. We don't collect sensitive personal information. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. We're a United States business with no establishment in the EU or UK, and we don't direct our services to people there. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies anyway, you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what we did before, and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority, or to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk in the UK. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Canada. You can stop our commercial email at any time using the unsubscribe link. We act on unsubscribes within 10 business days.

Children

The True-to-You Photo Prompt is meant for adults running businesses, and every prompt it writes is for an adult. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we'll delete it. If you're a parent or guardian and think your child gave us information, write to us and we'll remove it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards and rely on established platforms with their own security programs. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure. Your choices live on your device, so protecting that device and your printed copies, and not using the tool on a shared computer, is yours to do. If a breach affects information we hold and the law requires notice, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities.

Changes

We'll update this policy when our practices change and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.

Terms of use

The short version

Use The True-to-You Photo Prompt for your own business. Don't copy it and put your name on it. It writes prompts and never makes images, nothing here is professional advice, purchases are final, and what you do with your image tool is under that tool's terms. If something here causes you a problem, our liability is limited.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Cabinet 13, LLC. They cover The True-to-You Photo Prompt, its checkout, this site, and the emails that come with it, which we call the "services." Using the services means you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. We may update these terms, and the effective date at the top will change when we do.

2. What you can do with the tool

You're welcome to make as many prompts as you like, and to use them for photos of yourself or of another adult who has agreed to it, or to hand one to a photographer as a starting brief. Please don't share the link publicly, republish the tool or its prompt templates, sell it, put it inside a paid product of your own, or present it as yours. If you'd like to use it with clients, a group, or a class, write to us and ask.

3. Text prompts only

The True-to-You Photo Prompt writes text prompts. It doesn't make, edit, or store images, and it can't control what your image tool does with a prompt. Image tools can still change how you look, so check every result against your real photo before you use it, and only publish an image that shows you as you are.

Your image tool has its own rules about what it keeps, whether it trains on your uploads, and how you can use what it makes. Check them before you upload anything. Only upload a photo of yourself, or of another adult who has agreed to it, and never a child's photo. The tool isn't legal, photography, or image-rights advice, and using it doesn't create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship between you and us. Questions about your situation go to your own attorney.

4. Purchases

The True-to-You Photo Prompt costs $7 and opens as soon as you buy it. All sales are final, and we don't offer refunds.

5. Your entries are yours to look after

What you pick in the tool is stored only in your browser. We can't see it or recover it. If you clear your browser data or use a private window, your choices may be gone, and choices saved on one device don't appear on another. Copy any prompt you want to keep. You're responsible for who can reach the device and the printed copies you keep.

6. As is

The services and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from or relating to the services, even if we've been told such damages are possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the services won't exceed $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited. Some places don't allow some of these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and where that's so, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina. If you're a consumer whose local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, this doesn't take that away. Before filing anything, please write to us describing the problem, and we'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

9. Everything else

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing something isn't a waiver of it. These terms and the privacy policy above are the whole agreement between us about the services.

How we make money

The True-to-You Photo Prompt is sold on its own. The tool links to Calling to Clarity's website builds, which are ours. Calling to Clarity is a consulting business built around the Calling to Clarity build, which our emails may tell you about.

Some of our emails may include affiliate links. When one does, we say so in that email, before the link. A commission never buys a recommendation.

Accessibility

We want The True-to-You Photo Prompt to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA. We haven't completed a formal audit, so this describes an ongoing effort rather than a finished result.

Every question has a label, every choice is a labeled radio button you can reach with a keyboard, progress is shown in words as well as a bar, a missing answer is named next to its field, the progress bar respects your reduced-motion setting, and our text colors were chosen to meet contrast standards. If something doesn't work for you, write to us with the page and what happened. We'll respond within 5 business days, and if you need the tool in another format, we'll make one.
